Mary passed it down to her children and shared with everyone she could, the value of helping others. They continued their volunteerism with the Nomads Team right up until they "retired from the road." Mary was a retired manager of Friendly's in the Oakdale Mall and spent her retirement years traveling with her husband across the country volunteering with Habitat for Humanity helping to rebuild towns met by disaster. She loved singing in church choir, community choruses and became a "Bonus Mom" to the many music students taught by her husband at the high school in Johnson City, NY. It was there that she met the love of her life and future husband and joined him in his ministry of music.
